Indospectrum

The Grand Prismatic Spring is renowned for its vibrant colors which are a result of microbial mats around the edges of the mineral-rich water. The spring is the largest hot spring in the United States and third largest in the world. Its vivid rainbow-like appearance is attributed to the pigmented bacteria thriving in the hot waters, creating distinct color bands. It is situated in Yellowstone National Park, a prominent geothermal area.
