Arcade du Cinquantenaire

The Arcade du Cinquantenaire is a prominent triumphal arch in Brussels, Belgium. It forms the central part of the Parc du Cinquantenaire, a public park created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Belgian independence in 1880. Designed by the architect Gédéon Bordiau and later completed by Charles Girault, the arch features three grand arches topped with a bronze quadriga. The structure is flanked by two wings of exhibition halls, housing museums such as the Royal Military Museum and the Art & History Museum.
