Indospectrum

A bronze statue depicting the character from Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, 'The Little Mermaid', sits gracefully on a rock by the waterside. The statue reflects the mermaid's longing as she gazes out to the sea. Created by sculptor Edvard Eriksen in 1913, it has become a beloved symbol of Danish culture. Located at the Langelinie promenade, it attracts numerous visitors every year.
