Crater Lake is a stunning caldera lake located in the Cascade Mountains of southern Oregon, USA. The lake is renowned for its deep blue color and the clarity of its water, which is the result of rain and snow fill. Steep cliffs surrounding the lake rise over 2000 feet, and the lake itself is more than 1900 feet deep, making it the deepest in the United States.
